I have just been helping a friend set up his e-mail on a new PC. We have set it up using Outlook Express with BT Openworld. The automatic BT Openworld set-up was used and the account (dial-up details etc.) was installed. We have tried to receive messages and every time we try we get the following message:-
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.btopenworld.com', Server: 'mail.btopenworld.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
PS - we also tried a different ISP and same problem!
