Hopefully I'm on the right track...

I'm wanting to create a LAN website at home that can be accessed by any device (laptop/PC/smart phone) connected to our internet running from my PC.

I've used Abyss server and that was working until I wanted to go further and I was restricted with what I could do.

Basically i'm wanting to create a LAN website (if i'm on the right track) so if somebody puts in their URL say... 127.0.0.1:8888 they access the website I create.

Thats the first step, However the second is adding a custom URL, on Abyss you can just type in localhost, however when I do this from my laptop nothing happens.

I hope I'm on the right track, Any suggestions?
