I get the message "Data error (cycle redundancy check)" when trying to copy back large video files from my second HDD to my C:\ drive. I notice that most threads dealing with this error are concerned with copying from CDs or DVDs (rather than HDD to HDD). Files (AVI or MPEG) under 1GB usually give no problems. Does this mean that either i) there is a limit to the size one can copy between HDDs, or ii) there is a fault on my second HDD (in spite of chkdsk revealing all OK)?
