Hi, hope this helps ...click here
Have you tried changing the boot order in the bios to first boot from cd.Boot sequence: cd/hdd/floppy.then insert the windows disc and reboot. You obviously have a corrupt registry and damaged drivers.click hereTo enter the bios, either the delete key or F2 on startup. If these do not get you into the bios, check your manual.
i have changed the boot sequence but installation starts but the i get the error message before i have got to the repair console
Do you know if you have a recovery partition on the hdd ?What model pc ?
i am not sure if it has a recovery partition on the hdd, it is an evesham vale pc
Try F11 on startup,it may be a different key if you have a recovery partition on the hdd.If it exists, you will be given 3 options normally. Will the system boot in safe mode,if so...have you tried system restore ?
Hmmm, I believe Evesham systems usually have a backup/restore partition somewhere.
yes i have tried system restore and safe mode to no avail
In that case if the system will not boot at all, open the case and check all connections and the fans are clear while you are there inside.Have you tried the F11 or maybe a different key.
how do i find the back up\ restore partition
