It's not just the CPU that you need to think about, memory (RAM) and the graphics card are just as important, especially for gaming.

All the ones im looking at have 1GB DDR RAM

512MB ATI X1300 Graphics or 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 6200 Graphics.

Its Just what CPU would be Best for gaming.

Option 2 would be better however it would help to post up the specs and prices of what you are looking at. If a system is good in one way in another it can be very bad in another. All the things must be considered.

so is it intel cpu then not amd , as for the graphic cards it depends on what games you want to play and a what spec , they say that amd cpu s are best for gaming although others may have other thoughts?

For gaming the best cpu series right now is the Core 2 Duo.......it easily outperforms the P4 and Pentium D.

BUT.........with the graphics cards you mention you might as well have a budget Celeron processor!.You wont get full benefit from any Pentium or Dual core cpu with budget graphics cards......for a Gaming rig you should be looking at significantly more powerful graphics cards.Something like an NVidia 7600GT(or better) would be a good starting point.

What about a 512MB nVidia Geforce 7300GS Graphics with a Intel Pentium D 820 Processor
2.8GHz, 800MHz FSB and 1GB RAM?

Define what you mean by gaming. IE what you currently use your system to play and also what you plan to buy to play. It depends what you call gaming. I play C&C RA2 a lot and that by most isnt classed as gaming as it is not a power game like quake.
