When I bought the computer I had PC Doctor fitted, it is not expensive. It supplies a constant readout of three temperatures. CPU, HDD and SYS. The only problem is that no one has yet been able to give me an idea of what the maximum should be in each case. At present the temperatures are CPU 30, HDD 35, and SYS 25. This is with the room at about 20 degrees. My problem is that on very hot summer days this room can reach as high as 32 degrees. The system runs Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz with an ABIT BD7-11 Motherboard, and 512 DDR X 333MHz memory. HDD 20GB ST 320014A, and Maxtor 6Y060L0. Any info would be gratefully recieved.
