CPU replacement

  wotbus@ 15:15 30 Jan 2003

My new CPU+Cooling Fan/Heatsink and Grease arrived today, without any instructions at all! I have just finished re-reading a ton of old PC mags trying to find the article I read about replacing a CPU; no luck. I have tried BullyBeef's site but for some reason can't get the info I want. My homework tells me the mobo will accept the new CPU and I assume there is a socket somewhere for the new fan plug but before I begin I sure would like to read something about it. Can anyone direct me to a site which would help-or indeed give some advice.
Thanks to the guys who responded to my request on how to remove WinMedPlayer9. I still have it and getting used to it!
