C:\Program Files\Common\Bin window on Desktop

When Windows (XP Pro) loads a window titled as in above title remains on Desktop. It can be closed with no apparent detriment to following operations. The easy way out of course is to ignore but I would like to have a clean load. I would appreciate any hints, tips, instructions as to how to avoid the window appearing.

click start\run and then type msconfig.

Click on the startup tab and see if the window/path is on the list. If it is, uncheck it and restart.

Thanks 'fitshase' for your advice.
Cannot find any entry in <STARTUP> that can be associated with \Bin. Have identified files in \Bin with a recently installed application INTERVIDEO WINDVR, removal of same plus appropriate files solves my problem.
However doesn't explain why no reference in <STARTUP>

Could be in other startup areas (e.g., the registry).

If you have sorted the problem then I would leave it as that.
