When I boot up, the message "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt : windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe.I can carry on with start up but once I'm logged on, the pane that appears whenever you right click your mouse keeps popping up without doing anything. Very annoying!!Can anyone tell me how I can reinstall this file before I go insane!
Which version of Windows?
insert windows disc and do serch for file on disc then copy straight over to windows/system32 folder
