Corrupt Memory suspected - how do you check?

I have a desktop pc with XP installed. I have Office Pro 2003, with Business Contact Manager(BCM).
A dialogue box come up when opening BCM which says 'Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt'.

The program then closes.

Is there a way of checking memory to see if corrupt?

Thanks

Neil

Don't rely on Memtest etc.
I recently suffered boot up problems which Microsoft error reporting suggested was RAM related.
Both Microsoft's test and Memtest reported my RAM was 100%, however, using the RAM in another computer replicated the fault and fitting new RAM solved it - you work it out for yourself.
