Corrupt address book -Thunderbird

  jack 09:35 28 Oct 2006

I use Mozilla Thunderbird as my E-mail client.

In attempting to send a 'round robin' just now, when I hit Send so I got the -'Corrupt address' warning come up [must contain a domain]
when I checked that address, it had gained a collection of " marks
thus -- " their name "
virtually every address that came up had the corruption, I looked in the address book there they all were ,each card corrupted.
So I have spent half an hour manually 'cleaning'.

This I have noticed can happen to the odd address - this time the whole book

What is it all about and can it be prevented

Thank you Technotiger
I've had a look and found Thunderbird profiles- I guess that is what you are alluding to.
So now what do I do?

Hi, not a Mozilla user myself, but my click here tells you what to do if your address book is corrupted - i.e. create new profile etc ...
