Copying transparency slides onto computer system

I have hundreds of transparency slides which I wish to scan and copy onto CD/DVD via my computer system.
Can you suggest suitable methods/equipment please.
I have seen the Summit Photofix Scanner from click here @ £99.95 but cannot find any other dedicated scanners at a reasonable cost.
Are there companies around which would do this job for me?

Several Epson scanners have the ability to copy negatives and transparency's to your hard drive.
