Copying & Storing Photos

Hi

I can now copy my photos in to a folder within 'my photos'. I am splitting them in to years and then in to sub folders eg holiday, work, misc etc. I am renaming batches of photos within the folders eg Wet n Wild, Disney, Universal etc. It seems that the default way of ordering the photos is alphabetically depending on what I have called them eg Disney will become before Wet n Wild. I can reorder them by date photo taken. Is there any way I can change the default ie I don't have to go in to each sub folder and change the order?

Please help....

Open the folder you wish to change.

Left click: View > Detail > Date Modified.

If you wish to reverse the date order Click: Date Modified a second time

I don't know how to post a link but if you put 'picasa' into google, and download this free software, it arranges and sort your photos, and has a groovy slideshow. (I then download the images I want to print onto my USB stick, and take to a local friendly photo shop) Brill
