Copying a DVD

Excuse my ignorance, how do i copy a DVD!?

I have Cyberlink power producer and NTI CD-DVD Maker 7.

i tried using NTI, I copied the disc to my hd and then inserted disc and tried to copy, but could not manage it.

can anyone help me through a copy?

can i not do it using one of the 2 programms which i already have- which i mentioned?

does anyone have exxperience of these?

Do you have two DVD drives? One must be a DVD writer.

ummm my lappy is supposed to be DVD writable.
im just not doing it correctly!

Oh, it's a laptop. Then use DVDShrink as jimv7 suggested above.

thanks, i want to leave thread unresolved as id like to see if anyone has the software i mention. ideally id like to use it!

I use DVDShrink to get the film onto my HD, then I use Cyberlink PowerDVDCopy to actually copy the files onto Dvd
The few that I've copied for my portable player are very good.
