copy protection

i want to add some protection to a cd i have created to stop anybody copying it is this possible?

If it is the data disk you want to protect, then it is possible. Method 1: encrypt files before you put on CD. Other can copy them, but useless for them. There are many program, for example Winzip 9.0 click here can do this. Method 2: use Steganos Security Suite 6 for total solution click here. Method 3: Use vitual CD to Encrypt your virtual CDs, then put virtual CD images on CD click here.

If it is music CD you want to protect, then you may find difficult because many big big compinies cannot totally solve this problem.

Hi, Windows Media Player 9 has an option to copy protect your music.
Tools / Options /Copy Music tab.
I haven't tried it, so dont know whether it works well or not.Give it a whirl.

tryed these bits of software and they dont work it is a data disk i want to try and protect just something simple like a password to stop copying the data
