copy to cd

iam trying to put some files onto cd but when right clicking and then send to the option to send to cd is no longer there iam using xp any ideas please

check run>services.msc
The imapi cd burning service is runnung,if its set to manual try changing it to automatic.

Download and install this free burner I use it a lot and despite it's name it will do DVD's click here

try click here
see if you can add it back into the context menu,it also gives you alot more right click options
also might be a sytem file that you could put back via a sfc /scannow note space between c and / you will need your xp cd

Why not press Win Key + E then just drag and drop onto the CD icon?

sorry for getting back late bought a laptop and set up wireless network bit of a challenge but now semms ok
anyway the link from umbongo(uk) seems to have done the trick but thanks to everyone for there help always appreciated
