What exactly is a cookie, when you visit a web site is a record kept on your ISP servers? Can cookies take files on yr personnel details off your pc.

they are text files, click on one and open it to read what it says in it.

Most are perfectly harmless - those that aren't can be removed with AdAware6 and/or Search and Destroy 1.2.

Without a cookie, for instance, you wouldn't be able to use this forum as your details would be unavailable; if you can't log on you can't browse the PCA website...:-)
