Why is it that when I end a session on the internet and clean the hard drive of all files and cookies then shut down, by next day I have more cookies and internet files on the hard drive.?

Because all web sites need to use cookies to communicate with your computer. The great majority of these are quite harmless, and indeed help the connection the next time you visit the site.

Sea Urchin I know what you are saying, that is okay for sites that i have visited. but the cookies are there when i am not visiting. computer is shut down and i have gone to bed. just before i press the start button to shut down i wipe all the cookies and files off the computer.
i know it may make some sites take longer to load next time i visit, but iam not in any hurry time i have.
so how did they get there.?

Kevscar & iscanut. Thank you both for your input, but this still does not resolve the question I originally asked.

Are the cookies loaded at startup?

I suggested CCcleaner because there is nothing on the Winaso page that says it gets rid of cookies.

I have just had a look also and no mention of clearing Browser cache, cookies etc..just the registry. Try CCleaner and then let us know what happens re the cookies.
