How do I find the cookies on my computer.I found them before but have since forgotten where they are located.

Hi bremner I tried what you said but when I clicked on my user name cookies did not appesr.
Was this correct C drive..documents & settings Paul ( user name )but no cookies.

Start menu/run, type

cookies

press return

In Vista they are in:
C:\Users\UsernameAppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies

But you can vie wthme via:
Internet explorer >
Internet Options >
Browsing History >
Settings >
View Files

Then its anything starting with cookie:

If you're concerned its much easier using freeware like Spybot to check cookies and tell you which ones are iffy.
