Converting Windows Media to VCD

Does anybody know of some software that will allow me to copy DIVX and AVI movies on CDs, (that are playable only on Window Media Player), to a format that will play on a conventional DVD player connected to my television.

My computer came pre-loaded with pinnacle software, which will copy the above disks but will not allow me to re-write them in the disired format.

Hi ,firstly if the avi file is of a large size that you will be unable to burn on one cdr thhen you will have to split it using virtual dub or something else also sometimes avi files have the audio source as mp3 ,try loading into virtual dub if you get the warning message you will hve to extreact the audio and then put back in ,once split use nero to convert to vcd lots of progs here regards -hol pol...
