Converting PDF

I have a works pdf that I need to edit. It was made some time ago and a lot of the pages are now out of date so I need to replace certain parts of it. Is this possible? Its like a training manual that I have inherited and now need to ammend.

Thanks Technotiger but I could have done that! I wanted someone to actually recommend a program which thay have used themselves. A lot of this freebies don't actually work and say you need the full version etc... My pdf contains a lot of pages of pics and text mixed and some freebies I have tried converts it to gobbledegook!

I would guess that the original document was compiled in another application such as Word before being converted to pdf.

In which case you should source the original in its native format, do your editing then convert to pdf.
