anybody know how to do this, or a utility that does?

If DVDHelp doesn't have the codecs or info then no one will click here

.bin is usually a compressed file and will need to be decompressed. Somebody may know about how to do it - I only remember them from when I used Macs.

Another idea - the first post on the page by 'joedenicola': click here . He used Isobuster click here to succesfully 'convert' a .bin to a .avi. Good luck, G

thanks, but i don't have a cd/dvd burner. i've been sent a short movie clip from a friend, but it's in .bin - and i need to convert it to .avi so i can watch it using windows media player.

if only it was as easy as changing the file extension

Did my ^post^ (Crossbow70) help - i.e., the 'Isobuster' method above?
