Convert Just Audio from DVD to MP3

  Proclaimer 23:08 02 Jul 2008

I have a 'Live Concert' DVD and I would like to extract just the music from the DVD to play it through my i-tunes.

I have looked at Audacity and DVD-Shrink but I can't see a method there to extract each track and convert them to MP3.

Anyone got any clever solutions, please?

Orion Studios DirectDVD. Not free though, but they have a 30 day trial which might do the job.

I have used the previous version, DVD to MP3 1.8, which worked very well.

Once you have the DVD on your Hard Drive, Use this 'SUPER, Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer' from click here

Load all the VOB Files in, Change the "Output Container" to MP3 (Audio Only), Change Bitrate kbps to desired level (160 is best for me), Tick all Active Files, Click Encode Active Files, Sit back and wait a while, When it's done, Load all the MP3's into Audacity, do bit of editing and save as individual tracks.
