connection/broadband icon

Am currently setting up a new computer after a major crash.

I notice that the two tvs I use to have bottom right are no longer there.

Whilst it is not essential I found it helpful to remind me I was "connected".

I use Windows XP with an Orange live box.

Can I get these reinstalled please?

Go into Internet Options; Tools; Connections.

Amongst the various options there should be a tick box which says 'Display activity whilst connected' (or something similar).

Tick that option; Apply and OK

Start – Setting – Network Connection – Right Click on “Local Area Connection” – Properties at

the bottom of display – “Tick Show Icon In Notification Area When Connected”
