Connection icon disappeared

  Flankforward 16:53 28 Jul 2008

Using Vista and broadband through an Ethernet router: the connection icon has gone from the notification area. Yes, I looked on network connections, right clicked my connection and the general tab- but there wasn't an option to show the icon. It doesn't even appear as a 'past item' under notification area- hide inactive items- past items.

And, by the way, the network connections show the broadband as disconnected when it really is connected!

I'm a muppet! I found a tick box on the menu for the notification area for 'always show network icons. Resolved!
