Connecting USB Broadband modem

I will be connecting to Broadband next Friday and the modem will be a USB one. I have only 2 usb ports at the back of the tower, one I have the printer connected to, on Epsom's advice, and the other a usb 4 port hub so that I can connect a scanner, camera and card reader. Will it be ok to connect the new modem to one of the ports on the hub?

Regards,

Sapins.

If my modems are anything to go by you will be unable to connect to the hub and will have to connect to one of the PC ports.

Hi GANDALF <|:-)>

Thanks for your reply, I suppose then I will have to use the second PC port and work round it when I need to connect another device!

why not install a internal USB card, takes 5 mins to fit and you also get USB 2 aswell.
