Hello
I have xp windows and a Mesh computer which is 5 years old.
I have bought a 3Com router so that I can also use my lap top. I have also bought a compact USB adapter for my desk top
I have a speed touch broad band connection.
In the router set up instructions it tells me' to insert one end of the RJ-45 cable to the router OK and the other end to the modem'
The modem has 2 cables 1 to the telephone socket and the other has a USB plug which at present is connected into the computer.
Am I doing something wrong ?
Can anyone offer any help please
Thank you
gel

Unfortunately you need a router that accepts a USB like this click here or change the modem for a modem/router like this click here
