connecting printer to wireless network

I'm wanting to use a printer on my wireless network (between two computers but no router), but am wondering if it has to be connected to a computer to work, or can i use a router or something instead? cheers

You will need to set up your printer as 'shared' you can do this from control panel, printer and faxes, right click the printer and select properties, then the shared tab and place a tisk in the box to share the printer.

It is best to have the printer connected to the main PC directly

Without a dedicated Print Server - either Ethernet or Wi-fi - you must have a host for the printer, which obviously need to be running when printing is required.
