connecting PC's for backup

I have just moved house and not had enough to set up my network. On top of this I have a huge piece of work that has to be completed yesterday. Is it possible to connect pc's via usb ports so as to use one as a backup. It would be disastrous to lose it!!!

If both your pc's have RJ45 sockets for ethernet connection, why not just use a crossover cable. The data transfer would be a lot quicker as well.

Can't you burn it to DVD RW 4.5 gig per disc.

If both PCs are networked a great way to back them both up to each other is to use Foldershare: click here.

It's a freebie from Microsoft and works brilliantly. Yes you read that correctly, a freebie from Microsoft.

Cheers,
Si.
