How do i get my XP computer to connect to the internet as soon as it starts up.

I'm using Tiscali broadband on an XP home machine.

Thanks very much

Or, put a shortcut to Internet Explorer (or whichever is your default browser) in the Startup folder. When you start your computer the "Dial-up Connection" dialog box will appear, tick the "Connect Automatically" option and reboot your PC. In future, when you start your PC, IE will open and connect to Tiscali automatically.

The only snag is that the modem may not have sufficient time to sync. and the first attempt will fail.
