just recently i wondered about upgrading memory capability of my machine so i ran a crucial scan which advised me of an upgrade facility but said i only had two mem slots, i just ran belarc for a different issue concerning mob and the report advises i have three mem slots, not being too pc techie which do i take as right? please.

download belarc click here and it will tell you the make and model of the board and how many slots you have

I just googled my mobo "915pl-a2" and all specs were shown on ECS site. I only have two ram slots so more expensive to upgrade.

What is make and model of your machine or if you know MOBO

  Strawballs 00:34 25 May 2006

Madboy he said he had run belarc

as i posted belarc disagrees with crucial scan of my pc.

forgot to say i am a bit thick regarding what i am looking at, had a lot of probs sorting cmos battery recently and that aint solved that issue either,

Try click here . Find out your mobo' number and do a google.

  User-312386 00:46 25 May 2006

could you please advise, by copying and pasting what the motherboard is from belarc

Everest actually confirms that I have two sockets for ram and the mobo's name in google also shows the same. When I upgrade it will have to be two ram cards.
