Hello people, I have 2 problems to sort out. Please help me out.

1. 2 error messages appear in the middle of work on a PC. They are as follows.
a. Generic Host processor for Win 32 has
encountered a problem and needs to
close.
b. The system is shutting down, initiated by
NT Authority System, the Remote
Procedure Call RPC service terminated
unexpectedly.
Then the PC shuts down by itself. What could be the problem and how do I sort it out? Please help.

2. On another PC I installed an external CD-R using USB port and installed the driver that shipped with it on CD. Unfortunately, the PC keeps freezing, but this freezing stops whenever I uninstall the driver. What could be the solution to this headache?

I look forward to your kind responses, friends.
Thanks in advance.
