i am getting a new computer as the one i a using now restarts all the time and sometimes a bell noise rings out from inside the tower ? whats this ??cheers
Oyez, Oyez, town Crier ? ;))
what the ????
Sounds like an overheat warning.check all fans are working and give then a good clean also clan out all the dust from inside the tower.
I agree with the second comment of Fruit Bat /\0/\ I think that it could be fan blades hitting against a heatsink or a frame. Time to open the case and look inside when it is making a noise.
could this be the reason behind the restart problem as it takes 4 or so restarts to boot the thing up ?
Is this a serious thread? If so, then I apologise for my earlier post.I thought "bell noises from inside the tower" was a church-related joke. Sorry!
could this be the reason behind the restart problem as it takes 4 or so restarts to boot the thing up ?Yes could also be the first signs of a failing PSU.
Does it really matter if you're getting a new one? I expect the new one will go like the clappers!
It's something we all a'spire' to. Sorry.
