I was using my computer as usual last night when it suddenly switched off and there's no power I tried too power from the PSU it's trying too power but no joy, so I had an old PSU too test and that works, I'm fairly confident it's the PSU am I right too assure this??

Old one died, new one fitted and it fires up. It's fairly safe to assume that the old psu died.

Only concern would be the power coming from the newly fitted (old) psu may not be enough if it is as you say 'old'.

Well it is the PSU on my Computer theres no power I just tested the old one by plugging in the Main Cable in the Motherboard and power too the psu and that works so if that works and the other one don't its the PSU you div!

Not sure why you posted the 2nd and 3rd reposnse. De Marcus™ confirmed your suspisiouns so why the "you div" comment?

  RobCharles1981 10:30 10 Nov 2005

Don't matter, as long as I know it's the PSU too blame ile leave it at that Ile get on too Evesham too order one for me.

Lol, I take it you had a Homer Simpson moment when you realised what you posted. Doh! And the 'Div' comment was reffering to yourself ;-)

  PaulB2005 10:42 10 Nov 2005

LOL i see....

  RobCharles1981 10:47 10 Nov 2005

Well I do act like hommer at times, but we do agree it is the PSU ??

  De Marcus™ 10:48 10 Nov 2005

yes, contact evesham as you proposed if it's still under warranty.

  RobCharles1981 10:50 10 Nov 2005

Would they at that point agree too send me a replacement PSU ??
