Just purchased Asus M4A785TD-V EVO motherboard, AMD Athlon IIx3 CPU, Asus 1GB EN9500GT Graphics card, 2 x 2GB Kingston memory (approved) running from a Tagan 460W TG480-U01 power supply. OS Windows 7 OEM. Managed to get everything up and running (too smoothly - should have known problems were coming)and found the SB Audigy drivers wouldn't load and computer rebooted during installation. (coincidence?) uninstalled and reinstalled - same problem. Disabled SB and went into BIOS and enabled onboard audio. Plugged speakers into motherboard audio and switched on - brief fan spin, LED on motherboard lit but after a second or so - nothing. Re-connected front panel power switch - removed speaker jack - LED lit (remains lit) - very brief sign of life and sudden death. Thought it might be a problem with the PSU, but would appreciate any thoughts on the problem - please! Should mention I have fitted a Freezer Pro Rev.2 heatsink and fan too.
