Compressing DVDs

I have a DVD containing about 6.5GB, which I would like to copy to a normal 4.7GB CDR. Is there a simple way to do this?

yes dvd shrink but best to use nero 6 or 7

nero 6 or 7 doesnt compress dvd files

It depends what is on the DVD

A movie which say is about 7 gig uncompressed,cant be compressed in nero.
Sorry woodchip he dosnt mention its a movie on the disc,my appologies

As above then DivX should do it. But I think you have to pay for it now

Throbber just in case you are getting confused do as fruitbat says get dvd shrink a dvd that size you wont notice the compression suggest you also get imgburn (freebie ) designed to work with shrink dont bother with nero

dvdshrink + imgburn seem to do the trick. Thanks to all.
