Can you go to Control Panel\System\Hardware\Device Manager to check if you have yellow icons

ta woodchip, before I delete it, what's the point of compatibility view?

If its got yellow, you do not delete in, You can choose uninstall and it may load the correct drivers when you restart your computer if not you need to double click on the yellow icon then on the update drivers tab

Easiest way of turning it on is goo to tools in the Drop Down Click Compatibility View and thats it.

In order to disable and turn off Compatibility View mode for all web pages and websites, click on Tools menu, and select Compatibility View Settings. In the “Compatibility View Settings” dialog, UNtick the check box for Display all websites in Compatibility View option. Click OK etc
