Compaq Presario 5410 power supply

I have the above pc. I think that the psu has gone. I have found a few sites in America that sell replacements but I wondered if any of you experts have an easier option. I take it that it is not as simple as buying another psu as it is for a standard ATX board. Would a standard PSU for a micro board do. Thanks for any help.

That was one of the the sites I found. Do I have to get a specific PSU or can it be generic. If I have yo get a specif PSU can I buy it in the UK and if not is it safe to buy from America. Will it be delivered, VAT added etc. Thanks huggyg71

am sorry for the delay but i did find the specs of the supply you need and it is different to the us version.i have lost the link im afraid.will try to find it and post back.cant seem to find a supplier or much info even on compac site.how old is the notebook?

im sorry every search i tried gave info on notebooks.atx power suppiles can be purchased from click here+ should be fine.or try pc world(cant get a link to the component centre for you)all fairly standard and you should not have a problem.

pretty sure its a micro atx form factor.best thing to do is give pc world a call.
