Comp without Graphics card.

This might sound a silly question! A friend has given me his old comp to do up. It has everything in it except a graphics card (no onboard graphics). Will I be able to see anything on screen (I know it may be bad quality) so I can format it etc and tinker with it until I receive the new graphics card? Thanks.

yes you can see with onboard graphics and not in bad quality either

Just remember to enable onboard in the BIOS

Sorry, you are going to have to wait until you fit it with a graphics card.

No you will see nothing. As Mr Mistoffelees says.

Silly me forget I asked this question. Been a long day!!! Thanks for your answers.
