command prompt - run batch in background?

quick question:

On the command prompt in windows how do I start a batch file running and then make it return to the prompt so I can continue doing other things.

e.g. under Linux i would type "run.sh &". The "&" returning me to a prompt while the .sh runs in the background.

I hope that makes sense!

Try the START command.
