comma separated format data files

Can anyone give my a link to a small prog that will allow me to read a data file in comma separated format ? I don't want anything with bells and whistles, just to be able to read the data in columns !

I don't know what happened there !
Isn't excel a full word processing package ?
I'm looking for the equivalent of word viewer, a small prog that lets you read word files without having ms word installed.

You should be able to open a CSV file with Notepad.

notepad will do it - - -though won't sort into little column thingies. I believe you can get an excel viewer from somewhere out there. Am suprised you have no spreadsheet program, WORKS or something

Excel and Word viewers are available on the Microsoft web-site
