My local shop told me that it's possible to apply a code to my Region 2 DVD to make it multi-region.

Anyone know how ?

as most sites state they take no liability for the advise given that said you should have no problem if you are only accessing a hidden options menu its another matter if you are introducing new software to the machine(im not saying dont do it but you should be aware that it is more of a risk)

here are some links

As predicted, none of the hacks work. I even sent $5 to onlinecoders.com for a hack and never heard from them again so avoid them for a start. I'm reconciled to the fact that it just doesn't happen for my JVC DVD player.

What model JVC is it? DVD.reviewer only list two hacks for JVC models THA5R and XV2000.
