cmos/gpnv checksum bad

I have a K7S5A mboard and an intamitent fault.I get the message cmos/gpnv checksum bad when i press F1 reset the bios everything works fine.any one has an idea why this happens,any help wood be great .

Checksum errors are amost always due to a flat CMOS battery. Look in your motherboard amual to see how to replace it. Not expensive.
