Closing down Applications?

When installing Adobe Reader 9 from this month’s PCA DVD I was advised in the process that “The following applications are using files that need to be updated by the setup. Close these and click retry to continue. Windows Explorer Process Id: 316.") I’m at a loss as to how I might close this to effect the setup. And furthermore, I’m frequently asked when installing programmes to close all running applications but I do not know how to go about this task – I’m certain there’s help out there. Thanks in anticipation. The

To close an application that is not responding or you need to do close manually

Hold down Ctrl+ Alt and press the Delete key, Windows Task Manager will pop up click

Processes Tab select the program that you want to close and click “End Process”

Would also suggest that you use Foxit Pdf Reader as suggested by Mat Alan a lot easily program

to use plus you can copy, highlight the text etc in the Pdf document
