Clock problems

i have a pc running xp media centre. The tower has a clock built in which has started running at a different time to windows.It is currently 23 minutes slow.
Does anybody have any ideas please?

CMOS battery replacement problem?

If it's a built in clock it is unlikely to be the cmos battery. Have a look and see if there is a battery anywhere behind the clock.

Better still look in the motherboard manual - either hard copy, if you have one, or on line - to identify its location and type.

It is relatively simple to replace, but make a note of your BIOS set up as the CMOS will be lost when you remove the battery. click here or click here
