Sounds like your CMOS battery may need replacing.

Hi, the time change should not affect your computers time-keeping. If it keeps losing time that is a sign that the battery needs changing. The small battery on the motherboard, chrome and about the size of a 10p piece. How old is your pc?

its 1 year old i had it built

the clock is fine till i restart the computer

Well, may still be best to replace the battery - very cheap and easy to do.

You can get them from any PC shop.

Oh yes, about £1

Can also get them some Electric shops, like Maplins.
Usually a bit less than £1.
