Clicking on a link will not work in IE

Every time I click on a link in IE I get a warning as follows;

This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact you system administrator.

I have not changed anything in Internet Options so why is this happening?

I reset the web settings but the problem persists. It does say on the site "To fix it, try resetting Web settings in Internet Explorer. If this does not resolve the issue, you'll need to import the registry key from another computer."
As I don't have another computer is there anyway of getting hold of this key?

When clicking on the Forums list on the left hand side of this site I'm now getting a message

"Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site click here. Operation aborted".

When I clicked 'ok' IE closed down. It appears to be getting worse.

Which version of IE is it?

It's IE6.

Thanks VoG™, I downloaded it, installed it and rebooted but to no avail. I think I'll use one of the old CD's and reinstall IE6. I had just changed back from IE7 as I had a number of problems with that, but such is life. Thanks again.
