Clearing unused applications "common.dll"

  Diemmess 11:27 02 Apr 2014

Somewhere last month I downloaded SpyHunter4 but do not remember installing it! Spyhunter sits there as a shortcut but does not appear in Add and Remove in Control Panel, or in CCleaner. My OS is XP s3

I traced the installation to C:\Program files\Enigma Software Group\spyhunter... Any attempt to delete the whole thing fails (Common.dll in use)

Is there a simple way to tidy things? Possibly the common.dll will give up if I delete everything else first?

You could try , open CCleaner go to tools, startup and see if is set to start with windows if it is disable or delete it. Check other tabs just in case its set to start with browser etc.

This wont cure your problem but makes interesting reading.

Have you tried running MBAM?
