clean re installation of microsoft outlook 2010

Hi, I want to do a clean re installation of MS Outlook 2010. I've tried uninstalling the program (by using the change/add or remove features option in program uninstall) and then deleting the outlook folder in application data followed by a reboot and also by completely removing Microsoft Office followed by deleting the outlook folder etc.

However, after reinstalling outlook/office it's immediately loading old emails and accounts.

Can anyone tell me what I'm overlooking please.

Sorry, should have said I'm running on Windows 7

You need to delete the ost and pst files. Not on my W7 system and cannot remember where they are located. It's under user data.

The files are in a hidden folder C:\user\user name\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook.

Thanks for the replies guys but I did say that I had tried deleting the outlook folder in the app data folder. This contains a .pst and a .ost files. Is there another location where these files may be retained?

Do a full search for .pst and .ost files include hidden folders will show where they are.
