CLASS files in websites with iexplorer

  Mr. Chips 18:52 19 Dec 2005

I use Deepnet's browser, rather than Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
When using Deepnet, I am able to see photographs on a web page which are displayed using a class file called Banners.class.

When viewing using iexplorer, the pictures don't display.

The link below is the problem page.

Can anyone advise me why iExplorer refuses to dispaly the photos?

Any advice will be gratefully received.

Thks Skyver.

I am able to see the card trick in my iexplorer.
So Java is, I suppose, installed and working OK.

This probably means that it is something in my site which will work in Deepnet but not iexplorer.

Or perhaps a setting in iexplorer which needs enabling ... any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your time in helping me.

Check your Security settings in IE, when set to High it prevents the ActiveX control working, but in XP SP2 IE displays a warning to that effect. Click Custom Level, select Medium, click Reset.

Skyver thanks.

The setting is at medium, but still no photos showing.

I now believe that the CLASS file is at fault in some way. It loads, but does not run properly in iexplorer.

Thanks for your time in helping me it is much appreciated.

I will set up a new thread and see if I can get any advice on finding a replacement 'plug-in' (is that the correct word), that will do the job for me without this objection from Microsoft.

Thanks again, and Happy Xmas to you.
